Google’s algorithm (Location-Based Search) will automatically present the top 3 “Google Maps” results (often called the Google Map Pack).

3. Add “Local Keywords” to Your Main Website

Your Google Maps profile ranking is tied to the credibility of your external website (Business Website). On your Company Profile Website:

  • Place specific city/district names not only on the Contact page but also in the Homepage H1 title and your SEO Title Tag. (Example: “Tax Consultant & Business Bookkeeping Services in Ciledug, South Tangerang” compared to just “Accountant Services”)
  • Add an embedded map directly (Google Maps iFrame) in the footer or the Contact Us page.

4. Consistent Directory Listings (Citation Building)

If your Google Profile lists you as being at “Jalan Gatot Subroto No. 49,” while on a local directory page like Zomato or a Gojek listing it says “Gatot Subroto 49A/2nd Floor,” Google’s data engine will be confused and trust in the validity of your company’s existence will decrease. Standardize this spelling across all web directory listings where your brand is featured.
